Jhansi Koduri, MD, Installed as MCMS 176th President

MCMS installed Jhansi Koduri, MD, as its 176th President at the 2025 Annual Meeting held Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the Dayton Country Club. Dr. Koduri is an Oncologist with Premier Blood and Cancer Care. Her inaugural message highlights her plans for the coming year, and she is looking forward to planning to bring physicians together for social and educational events. Joining Dr. Koduri on the 2025 Board of Directors are: Nancy Pook, MD, 1st Vice President; Thomas Proctor, MD, Immediate Past President; Walter A. Reiling III, MD, Treasurer; Katherine House, DO, Secretary; Caroline Kennebeck, MD, Director at Large; Shannon McAfee, MD, Director at Large; Joshua Stierwalt, MD, Director at Large; as well as ex-offico members Becky Thomas, PHDMC Medical Director; and Gregory Toussaint, MD, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, WSUBSOM.

Highlights of the Annual Meeting are shown in the file below. Special Guests included Ohio Representative Andrea White (R-36) and Monica Hueckel, OSMA Vice President of Advocacy. Both shared details of legislative actions that are currently being heard in the Ohio legislature. Their message was clear: Physicians need to reach out to their legislators to let them know how burdensome regulatory actions affect the practice of medicine and their patients.

The room was filled with physicians and their guests who enjoyed a social hour and buffet dinner before the program began. Many expressed positive comments on the value of this program.
