How to Use These Resources in Your Practice

Optional: Quick Reference Script
60-Second Vaccine Conversation Framework
A simple, exam-room-ready script for addressing vaccine hesitancy with confidence and empathy.

1.
Lead with a clear recommendation.
“I strongly recommend this vaccine today because it protects against serious illness.”

2.
Invite concerns.
“What questions or concerns do you have about it?”

3.
Acknowledge and normalize.
“I understand there’s a lot of information out there, and it can be confusing.”

4.
Provide concise reassurance.
“These vaccines are carefully studied and continuously monitored for safety. The risk from the disease is far greater than the risk from the vaccine.”

5.
Refocus on shared goals.
“My goal is to keep you healthy and prevent problems we can avoid.”

6.
Close confidently.
“Let’s go ahead and get you protected today.”

Tip: A confident recommendation is one of the strongest predictors of acceptance.
