MCMS CME, Dinner & Trivia Event
Provided by MCMS Administration
Special Fall Event
What a night! MCMS was thrilled to welcome over 120 guests for our special fall event hosted by Jhansi Koduri, MD, MCMS President, at the beautiful Golf Club at Yankee Trace on November 7, 2025
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Thomas Proctor, MD who worked diligently to design the CME and collaborate with our MCMS team and board members. His leadership and attention to detail played a major role in making the evening such a success.
We began with two outstanding CME sessions:
1. “The AI Reality Check: What Every Physician Needs to Know”
Moderated by Walter A. Reiling III, MD
Presented by David Cha, MD, and Neeta Tambe, Director of Cybersecurity & IT Internal Audit at Leidos Inc.
This session offered a practical look at the rapidly evolving role of AI in clinical practice and the considerations physicians should keep in mind as technology accelerates.
2. “Emerging Trends in the Varied Use of GLP-1 Receptor Agonists”
Moderated by Indu Rao, MD
Presented by Richard J. Saxen, MD, and Carey Brown, MD
The discussion highlighted current insights and evolving applications of GLP-1 therapies—one of the most talked-about topics in modern medicine.
Following the CME sessions, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Amar India and the Golf Club at Yankee Trace. After dinner, Dr. Koduri made a special speech acknowledging Gerri Creel’s retirement and remarkable career defined by integrity, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of the local medical community. Through more than four decades of dedicated work, Gerri exemplified professionalism and compassion, serving as a steady and inspiring presence within the Society. Her guidance has strengthened the foundation upon which MCMS stands today—an organization rooted in excellence, collaboration, and service to others.
The evening wrapped up with a lively round of Trivia Night, featuring questions that ranged from easy (“Where is the Taj Mahal located?”) to tricky music challenges like identifying Pink Pony Club. Several competitive teams claimed top honors and went home with prizes, including Esther Price and Starbucks.
Overall, the night was a wonderful blend of education, camaraderie, and fun—a reflection of what makes MCMS such a strong and vibrant medical community.
Events like this are possible because of the physicians who come together to learn, collaborate, and lead. If you’d like to be part of that community, we encourage you to become an MCMS member and help shape the future of healthcare in our region.

We would also like to thank the sponsors that helped make this event possible. They include Day City Hospice, Premier Health, and Kettering Health.
