Physicians and Medical Students Participate in AMA Annual Meeting

MCMS physicians and Medical Students joined the Ohio Delegation at the recent 2025 AMA Annual Meeting. Medical Students from Ohio Medical Schools participated with the AMA Medical Student Section. In doing so, these future physicians met with medical students from across the country, as they experience the process of parliamentary procedure as it applies to debating and approving resolutions which come from across the country. The Medical Student Sections provide the training ground for these young people to understand the nature of formulating healthcare policy and their role in medical advocacy. MCMS is proud to have provided assistance for WSU Boonshoft Medical Student Amelia Liu in attending this meeting. Thanks to our MCMS physicians, Drs. Lisa Egbert, John Corker, and Deepak Kumar, who are active participants in the Ohio Delegation to the AMA, for their dedication to this cause.
