MCMS To Host Special CME Event with Dinner and Trivia Night Entertainment

Montgomery County Medical Society is hosting a special event on Friday, November 7, 2025 beginning at 4:30 PM at the Yankee Trace Golf Club for all area physicians and their guests. This is sure to be a wonderful evening offering 2 Hours of Category 1 CME, a great buffet dinner featuring American, Indian and Vegetarian cuisine, and followed by a fun Trivia Night competition hosted by D’Agostino’s Entertainment. Call your friends and make plans to come enjoy a fun evening together!

CME (2.0 Hours) 5:00-7:00 PM – The CME Topics include: (1) “The AI Reality Check: What Every Physician Needs to Know” with moderator Walter A. Reiling III, MD, and presenters David Cha, MD and Nita Tambe, Director, Cybersecurity & IT Internal Audit , Leidos Inc. and (2) “Emerging Trends in the Varied Use of GLP-1 Agonists”, with moderator Indu Rao, MD and presenters Bhavani Pokala, MD and Richard J. Saxen, MD.

The MCMS Alliance is also arranging special activities from 5:00-7:00 for those who arrive and choose to not attend the CME topics. A Women’s Health Update, Chair Yoga, Mediation and Social Time will be offered in the adjoining room.

Buffet Dinner: 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Trivia Night Fun: 7:30 – 9:30 PM

There is no charge for current MCMS members and their guest. Non-Members will be charged $150, and this will include a complimentary first year membership in MCMS. This offers a great opportunity to participate and learn about the benefits of belonging to MCMS, the local organization which represents all physicians regardless of hospital affiliation or group status.
