MCMS Fall Meeting – October 24, 2024 “What Do You Know About Cannabis?”

You won’t want to miss a special presentation on “Cannabis, CBD and Delta-8 THC: The Changing Landscape.”  Glen Solomon, MD, MACP, FRCP (London), Professor and Chair, Department of Internal Medicine, Wright State University and his wife, Cynthia Solomon, RPh, will present this timely topic as the availability of recreational marijuana is entering  communities across Ohio. This is an important topic to address how these substances can interact and affect patients’ health status and the health and safety of our community. Additionally, Mr. Scott Miller, COO and General Counsel of Certified Cultivators, a local marijuana wholesale processing facility, will share his experience in securing the license for his operation and some of the regulatory issues involved in Ohio for growing and distributing marijuana products.

The meeting will take place at Dayton Country Club on Thursday, October 24, 2024.  A cash bar reception will begin at 6:00 PM and a buffet dinner service will follow to allow for the meeting program to begin at 7:00 PM. Mark your calendar and make plans to attend with your spouse/guest. Share this announcement with your colleagues and have them join you.
